Valid / Invalid Status
Every number comes back Valid or Invalid. Valid means the number follows the North American Numbering Plan and is assigned to a carrier (active). Invalid means it is badly formed or not assigned (inactive). The data comes from carrier and numbering sources that are updated daily — the number is never called or texted, and the status does not show whether a phone is switched on or connected right now.
Line Type Detection — Mobile, Landline, VoIP, Toll-Free
Classifies every number by line type. This is the most actionable piece of data for marketing workflows:
- Mobile — the line type for SMS campaigns (consent rules still apply)
- Landline — voice-only, no SMS; route to human-dialed call center queue
- VoIP — internet-based numbers; many teams review these before including them
- Toll-Free — typically business numbers; classify separately in your contact strategy
- Unknown — non-geographic services that do not fit the other types
Current Carrier — Ported Numbers Included
Returns the carrier of the number, with its network type and domain. Our carrier data is updated daily and includes porting information (LNP). Carrier data helps you plan SMS routing and diagnose delivery problems.
DNC Lookup — Federal, State and TCPA Litigator Lists
DNC Lookup is a separate service for US numbers. Each number is screened against the Federal (National) DNC list, the TCPA Litigator list and the state DNC lists of Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Colorado and Wyoming, and comes back as Cleaned Number, TCPA Litigator, Federal (National) DNC or Invalid Number (a state-list hit also names its state). Use Phone + DNC Lookup to run both checks in one step. DNC screening is a compliance-assistance tool, not legal advice.
Geographic Data — City, State, ZIP, Time Zone
Returns city, state, ZIP code, country and time zone for each number. Use this data to:
- Build geo-targeted campaign segments without separate enrichment tools
- Schedule outbound calls within permitted hours using the time zone field
- Apply regional offers and pricing based on state data
- Spot numbers whose area doesn’t match the address a lead gave you
REST API — JSON Responses
POST endpoint authenticated with your API key and secret, up to 1,000 numbers per request. JSON response. No OAuth, no SDK required — it works from any platform that can make an HTTPS call: landing pages, CRM workflows, dialers, SMS platforms. GoHighLevel and Zapier connections are also available.
Bulk CSV Batch Processing
Upload CSV files with up to 50,000 rows each — up to 50 files at a time. The results are added to your file and returned as downloads (for example All data, Mobiles and Landlines).
